• 01/15/2025: MEGACOM has celebrated our 32 Years Anniversary today. We thank all of our clients for their continued support, trust, and loyalty.  We look forward to providing more "values" and "benefits" for our clients in coming years!!
  
• 03/16/2020: MEGACOM office will be fully operational during this crisis situation for coronavirus (COVID-19) and will continue to provide ongoing uninterrupted support for all of our managed service clients using various Remote Support technologies.
  
  On-site office visits will be only available by appointment only basis until further notice due to California and LA County's Stay-at-Home safety orders and initiatives.

• 01/01/2020: Director of the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) approved following eWaste fee rates, effective January 1, 2020.  The new rates, as of January 1, 2020, are as follows:
  
  Screen Size - Measured Diagonally:
  More than 4 inches, less than 15 inches - $4.00
  15 inches or more, less than 35 inches - $5.00
  35 inches or more - $6.00
• 02/01/2019: MEGACOM is now offering Dark Web ID Monitoring & Notification Services to help provide our clients a very useful tool to obtain and identify early detection/notification capabilities of compromised employee's credentials and any sensitive PII (Personally Identifiable Information) that may be circulating and available for sale among online criminals. 
• 01/19/2018: Adobe has announced a price increase of 10-15% for their Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams subscription plans which will take effect on 03/05/2018. 
• 07/01/2017: Effective on October 1, 2017, new Sales and Use Tax rate for Los Angeles County and Los Angeles city will be increased to 9.5% from old rate of 9.25%.

• 03/25/2016: Did you receive a support call from someone claiming to be calling from Microsoft or on behalf of Microsoft tech support department to provide some assistance with unspecified problems detected from your PC?   It's a scam!   Microsoft does not call end-users directly in any unsolicited way.  Please report these scam incidents to Microsoft so that Microsoft and law enforcement can investigate and stop those scams from occuring.
  
• 11/01/2014: Effective immediately, MEGACOM will be offering cost-effective compatible HP toner supplies that have 100% compatibility and quality guarantees by major vendors.

• 05/03/2011: Effective July 1, 2011, MEGACOM has been incorporated and will now operate under WOOSHIN, Inc. dba MEGACOM.
  
  
• 05/11/2010: MEGACOM has fulfilled all the requirements (including all certification tests from Microsoft) to be officially certified as Microsoft Small Business Specialist although we had been already installing/deploying Small Business Server/Essential Business Server solutions (for Mid-Size businesses) for many of our clients for several years!
  
  
• 11/18/2009: MEGACOM has joined Lenovo's Authorized Reseller Program to provide our clients with more choice selections and options when considering desktop / notebook / server systems.
